So here it is: a facebook post becomes a blog as an idea becomes a borderline obsession. On January 1, I set myself the target of seeing a bird species a day (average) for every day of this year (thankfully not a leap).
The reasons other than the 'once you think of it you have to do it' rule of idiots everywhere, are to copy Alex Horne's book Birdwatchingwatching, and a hope to spend more time outside with the american.
