Figueira da Foz, Portugal (+66)

With huge anmounts of help and knowledge from Dr Jim Irving, this has been an epic day - 36 new species. My first all-day birding excursion of the year, and new species: Spotless Starling, Black Kite, Swallow, Swift, White Stork (pic), Purple Gallinule, Marsh Harrier, Purple Heron, Black-winged Stilt, Booted Eagle, Common Buzzard, Night Heron, Serin, Golfinch, Swift, Kestrel, White Wagtail, Little Egret, Fan-tailed Warbler, Common Sandpiper, Spoonbill, Kentish Plover, Great Egret, Yellow Wagtail, Stonechat, Sandwich Tern, Wilson's Phalarope, Black Redstart, Greater Spotted Woodpecker, Cattle Egret, Crested Tit, Red-rumped Swallow, Sparrowhawk, Green Finch, Song Thrush, Blackcap.
Time for a shower before dinner!
