Lovely sunny mild morning. Walked around the lake and got great views of yellowthroats, kingbird and flicker. Plenty of red-winged blackbirds, catbirds, robins, mallards. Night heron came onto the island after a bit. Two great new birds - a Spotted Sandpiper picking around in an overflow puddle at the edge of the lake and a Warbling Vireo singing in the shrubs at the back of the duckboards (pagoda side).
Looking forward to Bird 200 in Canada, or even on the way up.
