Owings Mills

Well, the last bird is looking like being a slow one. So far, the apartment grounds have not been particularly forthcoming with a rough list of: Starling, House Sparrow, White-throated Sparrow, Cardinal, Robin, Black Vulture, Canada Goose, Blue Jay, American Crow, Black-throated Blue Warbler, Carolina Wren, Chimney Swift, Common Nighthawk.

A trip to Irvine Nature Center yesterday gave Mourning Dove, Cardinal, Song Sparrow, Field Sparrow, Red-bellied Woodpecker, White-breasted Nuthatch, Carolina Chickadee, but really not many.

There are several candidates for the last bird: Savannah Sparrow and Lincoln's Sparrow would be possible, Horned Larks are reputed to be numerous at Howard County Farigrounds, a Bonaparte's gull, BArred or Screech Owl, American Pipit, Snow Bunting, along with a number of others that become possible out at Ocean City.
