State Arboretum of Virginia, Boyce, VA. (+68)

Picnic stop en route to Shenandoah turned out sunny and beautiful. A large flock of Cedar Waxwings and a Merlin were new birds among a realtively narrow selection (Killdeer, Song Sparrow, Red-tailed Hawks, Crows and Red-winged Blackbirds. The hunt for a Savannah Sparrow continues.
