Locust Run Trail

A new trail in what I think is the Liberty Reservoir corner of Soldier's Delight to look for two life warblers.  No luck on the Kentucky, but I did find a Worm-eating Warbler, and even got a not-that-great picture if him making his insect-like trill.

In the same area, there were a male and female Scarlet Tanager going crazy - I think they may have been trying to distract me from their nest.

 

Then I dropped into Soldier's delight, which didn't have any really exciting birds, but I did see a Waxwing showing off his berry!
