An epic day started with meeting TC at white marsh at 7. By the end of birding with a heard Chuck Wills Widow at about 9pm on Assateague, we'd driven a couple of hundred miles and seen just short of a hundred species of birds. Highlights we're life American Avocet, Clapper Rail, both at Bombay Hook, a lovely reserve in DE, and hearing Bobwhite and Chuck Wills Widow.
Bank Swallows/Sand Martins (and a Barn)
Forster's Terns
AVOCETS!!!
A lot of Short-billed Dowitchers and a few Black-bellied Plovers in the middle.
