In the afternoon, I went to Fort Smallwood to chase a Redpoll that has been reported there over a couple of weeks or so. No joy on the Redpoll, but the thickets held lots of Eastern Towhees and a Fox Sparrow, the trees had at least one Brown Creeper and a dozen or so White-winged Crossbilss, and thrity or so Cedar Waxwings. On the water were a pair of Goldeneyes, and a bunch of Lesser Scaup.
