I followed some excellent directions Monday morning to a long-distance (but unmistakeable) view of a day-time Little Owl. I suspect this will not win any photographic awards, but it is lifer 710!
And after a quick visit to Royal Holloway, I dropped back to Thursley to look for a Hobby with my folks. We had great looks at Common Redstarts, Stonechats, a Tree Pipit, but the highlight was a couple of great looks at a Hobby.
Even more remarkably, a blue sky over England.
A dusktime hunt for Nightjars came close, with one probable sighting (either Kestrel or Nightjar in the gloom). Hopefully we can head back there soon.
