Monday September 16th, Strumble Head

With a strong wind blowing things in off the sea, I headed to Strumble Head in Pembs.  Leaving Cardiff at 330 and arriving before dawn, I made my way down to the sea watch shelter and set up my telescope. It turned out to be an amazing nine hours of birding, bring in life Arctic and Great Skuas, Manx, Sooty and Balearic Shearwaters, Fulmar, Little Gull, Shag, and Guillemot.  I also managed to miss Storm Petrel, Long-tailed Skua, and Pomarine Skua!
