Marshy Point Nature Reserve (+18)

Probably a day record - three new birds (red-breasted nuthatch, mute swan and gadwall) and over 25 species (2 nuthatches, tree creeper, downy and red-bellied woodpeckers, song sparrow, junco, goldfinch, house finch, bluebird (pic below), red-winged blackbird, robin, american crow, great blue heron, gadwall, shoveler, mallard, wigeon, ring-necked duck, canada goose, hermit thrush, carolina chickadee, tufted titmouse, mourning dove, turkey vulture (pic above).The reserve has a very nice visitor center with several bird feeders, boardwalks with viewing platforms and several trails.
