Fitting to end my birding year at one of Owings Mills' two best spots, and my most visited place. Great also to find one more bird for the year (and two of them separately), an American Tree Sparrow. The combination of a clean breast with a prominent central spot, bicolored bill and rufous cap that you can make out in this less-than-perfect picture seem to be enough to call it on. They also had quite a cutesy appearance in the flesh and an eyestripe that extended behind, but not in fornt of the eye.
I also saw lots of other sparrows: Field, Song, Swamp, White-throated, Fox, and Juncos!
