In the park to set up for the Easter Egg hunt later on... I suspect that will have fewer kids than anticipated braving the rain and lightning. Lots of birds at the pond on a horrid morning: osprey; yellow warbler (yellow blob in pic below); black-crowned night herons (pic below); caspian tern; red-winged blackbirds; grackles; thrashers; towhees; and today's new bird - a green heron (pic above). Photos clearly demonstrate the limitations of current camera (and taking pictures through drizzle ;-))
