E-bird targets

I posted before the trip about how far down the target list one could reasonably expect to get.  In the end I got 50 lifers, so down to about the 5% level.  Obviously this depends on the number and variety of habitats I bird, the geographical range of the target list, the distribution of targets as a function of sighting frequency and any number of other factors.
Incidentally getting to a similar level on the South Africa target list for August would get me 97 lifers and Chile for October would get 57.
