A belated report on an early morning ride south round the Gwynn Falls trail. Not a particularly eventful morning, but a reasonable variety of common birds - house sparrow, starling, pigeon, mourning dove, grackle, mallard, canada goose, mockingbird, red-winged blackbird, ring-billed gull, robin, chimney swift, cowbird, cardinal, fish crow, song sparrow; but also some more exciting birds - a nesting Baltimore Oriole (pic), an unidentified tern (probably Least), great blue heron, kingbird, osprey, barn and tree swallow. No new birds though.

Baltimore City
