Birds I have not seen

There are three birds that I have unequivocably identified (by sound), but cannot count, under the rules of my year. Both Least Bittern and Black Rail, I have heard in dense reeds (in Patterson Park and Swan Creek, respectively) and last night I heard Whip-poor-wills singing their name in Patuxent Wildlife refuge.
