Early-morning detour to Patterson Park. White-bellied nuthatch heard, then seen just north of the pond. Dog-walker tipped me off about a 'small hawk ... or parrot' in a nearby tree that came to nothing!Other firsts for PP: Tufted titmouse, Carolina chickadee, American Wigeon.
